Groundwork:
In the Netflix app for some devices, fault 5.2 occurs when a video is existence played. I have found a way around this fault for these devices, and I managed to make a Magisk module for it. Information technology has cipher to do with Condom Internet/Play Store, it simply just lets y'all play the video and get rid of the error.How to Install:
Go to modules in Magisk Manager and add together the module. It will be flashed inside the app. Then reboot and you can watch Netflix againHow information technology works:
The file called "liboemcrypto.so" in /organization/lib is the file that makes the error occur. This file is removed, which makes the error disappear.Issues?
If the module gets an error when flashing in Magisk Manager, flash latest Magisk version, reboot and try again.If you become worse quality of the videos in Netflix after enabling this module, you can fix it past installing this modded Netflix apk I accept included.
If your device doesn't have the "liboemcrypto.so" file in /organisation/lib earlier enabling this module, it is non going to do anything. And so if you still become the Netflix v.ii mistake with this module enabled, and so endeavor a Netflix apk from April 2022 on this folio: https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/netflix-inc/netflix/
Enjoy watching Netflix once again on your rooted device!
I tried the magisk method method no joy, tried the apkmirror simply the file information technology downloaded did not look **** whatever apk I had always seen before and when I downloaded your modded a apk it would not install, damn it all what am I doing wrong?

Theoretically, even if the app works, information technology would default to Widevine L1 which merely supports 480p.
I finally got it to work. How tin I find the resolution it is playing at?

I finally got it to work. How tin can I notice the resolution it is playing at?
If your device is rooted, via Magisk or SuperSU, Widevine L3 won't be utilized and volition fallback to L1. Your current resolution is limited to 480p and below regardless of your Netflix plan.

Looks like information technology works. I have rooted my device by TWRP.This is interesting !! Is it still working in Hard disk drive?
In my Samsung phone the file liboemcrypto.so had a bit different path:
/vendor/lib/liboemcrypto.and so
My Netflix app asked me to update for the latest version, which was non possible from the Play Store (because the device was rooted), I've got a message: " This App is non compatible with your device" . The solution was to download the latest available version from apkmirror.com and install it.
Afterwards that:
- In TWRP recovery mode crush (don't forget to switch off the selection 'mount system partition in read only way') I take renamed liboemcrypto.and so to liboemcrypto.old using mv control;
- Rebooted my device;
- Cleaned the Netflix app enshroud;
- Run Netflix;
- Rebooted my device
- In TWRP recovery mode shell renamed dorsum liboemcrypto.old to liboemcrypto.so
- Rebooted my device
- Netflix worked.
