I have no idea what kind of a spider it could accept been but at showtime it looked like a big musquito seize with teeth then with in a few hours a large cicatrice formed (about the size of a pea). The blister bankrupt open and I don't know how to care for it. My son is 17months and the seize with teeth is on his lower leg.
What can I do side by side?
And then What Happened?
Thank y'all for the helpful suggestions. I took him to the Drs first thing in the morning and he is on an antibiotic. Poor thing...he was besides bit by his grandparent'south dog yesterday : ( It was a tough 24-hour interval for the piddling guy.

Take a pen and describe a circumvolve around the red outline of the seize with teeth. If the redness grows beyond the ink circumvolve, than that could be a poisonous bite and the only thing to stop information technology is prescribed antibiotics from a Dr.
Pus draining from the area could mean he got a skin infection from the bite (see here, click on peel infection):

Most spider bites are pretty harmless and tin can be treated at home, others, like a brown recluse or black widow requires immediate medical attention. I know a woman who had to have part of her leg amputated b/c she didn't seek treatment fast enough for a brown recluse bite!
At to the lowest degree call the pediatrician and meet what they suggest you lot to practice.

I would take your son to the Dr, or at least requite them a phone call. My son had a little bite on his bottom. Note sure if it was a spider bite, only none the less, he ended upwards getting a staph infection. We all conduct staph on our bodies. Just to ease your listen I would accept him in.

Get it checked out with a doctor. There is a very poisonous spider common in Texas called a brown recluse which likes nighttime places/closets/attics, etc. Harmless looking (brown, looks like a common spider) but is poisonous and causes a terrible ulcer sore to class. My nanny was bitten in my dwelling and was hospitalized.

I would take my child to the Dr. every bit soon every bit I saw the bite go worse. Even if it meant going to someone other than my pedi. (Care Now, etc)

I ever become spider bites, & I was bitten by a chocolate-brown recluse when I was younger. I nigh lost my arm, & I accept a big scar on my arm that looks like I dug out my skin with a spoon.
When I first notice them, I endeavor to get the pus out. Then I draw a circumvolve around the border of the reddish part. I expect & see how long it takes until it gets bigger...does that make sense? If the inflamation goes past my line quickly, so I need to become to a physician.
Now, I am in NO WAY A DOCTOR, then take your son to a medico as before long as yous can. That'south but the way I handle it now, & they never get worse. I think my seize with teeth got worse when I was little because my mom didn't run across it until it got really bad.
Good luck!!

When my 2 yr sometime was fleck, we went to the doc. We were told to keep it clean and covered. They didnt requite me annihilation for it. This was several months ago and the scar is still there. I didnt put anything on information technology except soap and water.
Take a pen/marker and draw a circle effectually information technology. If the bite gets bigger than the circumvolve take him in immediatly.

I have already prayed for him, at present here is my advise.
Considering your son is only 17mo I would exercise equally suggested and accept him to a dr if you see it spreading in redness or if he has any other symptoms. Read online almost brown recluse spider bites for a while and yous will soon realize that it is nothing to mess around with.
Since it formed a blister and burst I would put neosporin (triple antibiotic ointment) on it until you become him to a dr.
It may not be a brown recluse and you lot may only demand to treat it similar you lot are trying to go on down infection and treat against an allergic reaction. If your son can take Benadryl by mouth use the recommended dose every 4 hours to reduce the histamine bear on in his body. This will brand him sleepy most probable, and so don't be alarmed about that. (I tin't fifty-fifty accept it without fighting to stay awake.)
However, I however recommend that you go him to a dr if after 24 hrs he is non whatsoever better. (drawing the ring around the redness to see if it shrinks or grows is a practiced idea)
Delight post and let united states know how he is doing presently.

PS
If you run into anything that looks dark or blackness in the center of this bite, you have no option but to take him immediately to a dr. or emergency room.
It has always been my experience that to go to the dr office in the mean solar day is better than waiting till the eastward.r. is the only pick at night. There are a lot more germs that he (and you) would be exposed to in the e.r. Then there is the waiting that is no fun for a sick kid.
Just a thought.

My pedi advised me to use pure aloe vera or neosporin. Give him a hug from us all!
